When I was talking with my boyfriend

Today I was talking with my boyfriend about  with my new job. I had much expectation of what He would say because I had made ​​a mistake in the contract you sign. 
I thought I would have their support on the contrary he told me "Well are your things and I will not say anything more."
I was sad because I didn't got the comfort at him.
Never happened that are waiting for a word of support from the person they love but You do not receive them?, How they react in these cases?
